-Refrain from ringing the birds neck

-Carrying your bird by the feet is ideal

-Place bird on its back in a dry area

-Handle bird with care for optimal preservation

-Wrap head/beak and each foot with a wet paper towel (no newspaper)

-Tuck the head nicely under one of the wings or securely to the breast

-Place in sealable freezer bag, remove as much air as possible while sealing (double or triple bagging is recommended)

Turn around time varies based on season, current wait list, etc. Estimated turn around time will be given upon inquiry. Maximum turn around time is 6 months.
